Trauma Sensitive Training
Jane
NYSUT Health and Safety personell, Wendy Hord coordinated recent training and obtaining of a grant endorsed by SABEA and WSWHE BOCES. Members underwent a two day training and will be providing information to the rest of the membership to assist in recognition that our students may have experienced trauma in their lives.
The training was well recieved by members and are looking forward to sharing with others.

When SABEA members heard that some of our students might not have socks, they "hoofed" it gathering socks at all of our sites. Labor area councils also joined in.
