NYSUT Health and Safety personell, Wendy Hord coordinated recent training and obtaining of a grant endorsed by SABEA and WSWHE BOCES. Members underwent a two day training and will be providing information to the rest of the membership to assist in recognition that our students may have experienced trauma in their lives.
The training was well recieved by members and are looking forward to sharing with others.
On November 20, CDRO (Capital District Regional Office) held the second recognition dinner for our Support Staff. A great turn out by our SABEA members.

In honor of our friend Kris Keough, members have been serving dinners at the Glens Falls Open Door Soup Kitchen. On this night, Penny Marshall and Jo James and family assisted.
Linda, Sandie, Ruth and Anna at the Women's March in Washington, DC. It was a very powerful experience with many SABEA members there and at other sites around the country.
